Top place worldwide for the Greek olive oil for the second consecutive year, its producer, George Sakellaropoulos, at the Greek Program of SBS Radio.

The top olive oil worldwide, at the category of Best Condimento Olive Oil is for the 2nd consecutive year the Greek olive oil and especially one from Laconia.

This particular olive oil received the top place of the World Ranking of Evoos (EVOOWR), competing 12.092 olive oil samples from all over the world.

Extra virgin olive oils from 34 olive oil producing countries competed to find out the best ones, regarding taste and quality.

The final ranking was published from the World Association of Journalists and Writers of Wines, Liquors and others, ranking all the olive oils that have been awarded during 2019 in international blind tasting competitions.

“It’s a huge honor for us to see our olive oil products at the top of the world raking, as we make a huge effort towards achieving the highest possible quality" as he mentions " this way we are promoting our country, Greece, and our region, Sparta – Laconia, worldwide at the top of the production of high quality extra virgin olive oil" are some of the comments in the Greek Program of the SBS Radio made by George Sakellaropoulos, whose farms were distinguished internationally for their olive oil.
