
High scores for the 4 extra virgin organic olive oils from Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms at the professional panel tasting, Extra Virgin Olive Oil Savantes 2015, carried out 25 – 27 February 2015 at Manhattan, New York.
The judges were expert panel tasters under the auspices of the Savantes team.
These 4 olive oils were Fyllikon First Harvest Evoo, Agourelaio Unripe Evoo, Armonia and Armonikon Organic Extra Virgin.
Their taste was characterized as subtle, aristocratic, balances, harmonious and persistent.
This tasting is carried out at New York since 2012 and this years its back at Manhattan to showcase some of the best extra virgin olive oils worldwide, that participants tasted, expanding their knowledge and experience on olive oil.
The results, as announced at Savantes 2015, are:

Flavour: Aroma: Fresh green herbs, green figs and dry herbs. Tastes: Dry herbs, slight chicory bitterness, Slight pepper heat and short tannic nutty finish.

Brand: Agourelaio Unripe evoo
Packaging: Upmarket
Style: Delicate-- Balanced and harmonious
Flavour: Aroma: Oregano, lemon, parsley, rosemary. Tastes: Dry herbs, slight chicory bitterness, slight cress vegetal heat, creamy nut finish.
Commercial evaluation: General use with all delicate tasting cuisine, especially fish, fruit, desserts, baking.
Brand: Armonia organic evoo
Packaging: Upmarket
Style: Delicate-- Balanced and harmonious
Flavour: Aroma: Fresh and dry herbs, lemon, thyme.
Tastes: Dry herbs, slight chicory bitterness, slight nasturtium heat, creamy nut finish.

Style: Delicate-- Balanced and harmonious and persistent
Flavour: Aroma: Green figs, fresh green herbs, camomile. Tastes: Green salad leaves, slight radish heat with a raw peanut finish. Creamy.
