The aim of the University study is to show that by changing eating habits, in a scientifically proven way, in groups of people who have a high risk of diseases and especially heart attacks while performing their work, such as firefighters, this risk is reduced to extremely high percentages.

In fact, according to a clinical study of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, it turned out that the olives from these farms contained 5 times more health protective ingredients (tyrosol and hydroxytyrosol) than others from different areas.

Also, this study concludes that consuming only 5 of these olives can positively affect the lipidemic profile and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

"Location is an important factor in the quality of our products"

The microclimate conditions that prevail at the foot of Taygetos and Parnonas are among those that upgrade the quality of the products, as Laconia is an area that is distinguished by almost zero levels of environmental pollution and has a history with centuries of experience in oil production.
