For the first time, the rare " World's Best of the Best" award in the agricultural sector has gone to a Greek producer.
The PRO PR GLOBE ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS were presented at a ceremony in Rome on January 28, 2026. The award recognizes the company's achievements in sustainable development and innovation. It was presented by the organization Apriori World with the support of the World Innovation and Change Management Institute, based in Geneva, Switzerland. The award ceremony took place during the "ROMAN FORUM" conference on green sustainability and public relations in the event hall of the Hotel Quirinale in Rome.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms are located near Sparta in Laconia, one of the most important olive-growing regions of Greece, where the olive tree is considered sacred. The region is known for its ideal climate and exceptional natural environment and holds a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).
What is particularly innovative is that each nomination is based on suggestions from previous award winners as well as from members and leaders of the five global communications associations. These include the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO) and the World Communication Forum Association (WCFA), who participate in the nomination process.
The PRO PR GLOBE ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS were launched in 2012 with the aim of recognizing companies, organizations, and individual initiatives worldwide that set a positive example in their respective fields. These unique awards acknowledge innovation, excellence, contributions to the global and local community, commitment to sustainability, education and information, and the worldwide impact of the winning initiatives, encouraging others to follow this positive example.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were nominated by previous award winners and, following a thorough evaluation by the jury, were honored with the rare "World's Best of the Best" distinction in the Agriculture category at the PRO PR GLOBE ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS.
