A great, double, and unique honorable distinction for our country and Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms at the internationally renowned olive oil competition Terraolivo International Olive Oil Competition 2019, which is one of the top olive oil competitions worldwide based on international standards and ranks by the international EVOOWR with a degree of difficulty and evaluation of 9/10.
It took place in Jerusalem, Israel, from the 3rd until the 6th of June, 2019, with more than 500 olive samples participating from 20 countries such as Spain, Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Turkey, Portugal, Israel, France, Argentina, the U.S.A., Peru, etc.
The international, certified expert olive oil tasters, tested all the olive oil samples with blind tasting, based on the rules and standards of the International Olive Oil Council.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms accumulated a very high score which exceeded 90/100 and were honored with a great double distinction for both olive oils which participated, from the expert panel tasters of Terraolivo.
For us, it is a great and unique double award because it was given by expert olive oil panel tasters coming from many different countries at the Terraolivo International Olive Oil Competition 2019, one of the top and most distinguished competitions worldwide.
This award for ‘Gemstone Blend’ olive oil, which circulated for the first time this year, is its fourth consecutive award given by four consecutive participations in international olive oil competitions for 2019.
The first award for Gemstone blend gourmet olive oil came in Tokyo, Japan, in April, at the Japan Olive Oil Prize 2019 with a Gold medal and Best Flavored evoo. The second award came in London, at the London International Olive Oil Competition 2019, with a Gold medal and exceptional comments, and the third award came in May, from Italy, at the ΕVOIOOC 2019 (EVOO International Olive Oil Contest), where it was honored with a Gold Medal.
At the same time, ‘Agourelaio’ Organic Extra Virgin Olive oil received its fifth award for 2019 at Terraolivo.
The first award was from the international organic olive oil competition BIOL 2019 in Italy, with a Gold Medal. The second award came in New York at the New York International Olive Oil Competition 2019 (NYIOOC 2019), where it was awarded the Silver Medal among 903 samples. The third award came from the competition Olympia Health & Nutrition Awards 2019 in Athens, where it was awarded for the high concentration of health beneficial properties it contains with a Bronze Medal, and finally the fourth award came in May, from Italy, at the ΕVOIOOC 2019 (EVOO International Olive Oil Contest), where it was honored with a Silver Medal.
The combination of all these international awards has ranked the olive oils of Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms THE WORLD’S BEST OLIVE OILS FOR 2019, continuing the tradition of high quality that they have created for many years, reaching the peak in ranking with their olive oil Syllektikon Blend Evoo being second worldwide for 2017, and their olive oil Majestic Blend Evoo being number one worldwide for 2018.
