An extremely honorable distinction by taste professionals for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, in the 11th edition of the OLYMP TASTE AWARDS 2026, which is an international competition of high gastronomy, specialized in the evaluation of quality food by distinguished chefs and tasters.
It took place from 5 to 8 June 2026, for the 11th consecutive year and it is a meeting of the best food producers from Greece and abroad, through a distinctive event on the subject of tasting unique products of the agricultural and food sector.
It should be noted that all the products that participated in the competition were tested by the judges with the blind tasting method, without packaging, and without any kind of distinctive element. Each product is assigned a code to ensure their reliable tracking.
Each judge performed an organoleptic analysis of the tested product, and recorded a numerical score on the assessment sheet that represented the general sense as well as other criteria, such as appearance, smell, texture, taste, and oral sensation.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms participated in the international competition OLYMP TASTE AWARDS 2026, with ten (10) table olives samples.
Collecting extremely high scores from the judges of the competition, they were honored for every one of their ten (10) table olives that participated, with exceptional awards. Specifically:
• 5 platinum awards with scores over 96%
• 5 gold awards and scores up to 95%
In particular, the olive products by Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms “TELIES Gourmet Olives” and "Kalamata Organic Olives" were honored with rare and historic scores of 99/100 and 98/100 points respectively, thus awarded Platinum Awards by the specialized chefs and tasters of the OLYMP TASTE AWARDS 2026.
These honorary scores of 99/100 and 98/100 are an absolute rare occurrence in culinary and gastronomic competitions in general.
It is a major moment and an important international distinction for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms to achieve such scores.
