A prestigious distinction, with 100% success rate, with Greek and Spartan colors was noted in Monte Carlo, Monaco for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, in the recognized international olive oil competition Masters of Olive Oil International Competition 2024.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were honored with 7 awards in an equal number of their participating gourmet olive oils, with 1 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze awards in total.
The 8th edition of the competition took place in Monte Carlo, Monaco, 7 - 12 May 2024, with great interest from the international olive sector. Hundreds of olive oils from many olive-producing countries with a very high level of quality, coming from 4 continents, participated.
The internationally recognized Masters of Olive Oil's team of judges comes from many different countries and is made up of world-renowned and experienced tasters who have judged olive oils solely on the basis of the International Olive Council (COI) method.
It should be noted that the international competition of Monte Carlo is the only global competition that has eleven (11) of its total judges, with the status of certified and qualified panel leader, from recognized organizations such as the International Olive Council (COI), as well as MASAF, AIFO and MIPAAF.
After the preliminary analysis of each olive oil, the panel of specialized judges conducted an individual evaluation of each olive oil sample in five phases, in order to reach the final ranking of the olive oil finalists and the overall score.
On 8 and 12 June 2024, the announcement of the results and the award ceremony took place in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were honored with high scores and the absolute percentage of 100% for their participations, a fact that is a milestone for the Greek olive growing for 2024.
