A prestigious distinction, with 100% success rate, with Greek and Spartan colors was noted in Monte Carlo, Monaco, in the recognized international competition Masters of Olives & Olive Oil International Competition 2026.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were honored with 16 awards in an equal number of their participating table olives and gourmet olive oils, with the 1st place Over All, 5 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze awards in total.
The 10th edition of the competition took place in Monte Carlo, Monaco, 25 - 30 May 2026, with great interest from the international olive sector. Hundreds of olive oils and table olives from many olive-producing countries with a very high level of quality, coming from 4 continents, participated.
The internationally recognized Masters of Olives & Olive Oil International Competition team of judges comes from many different countries and is made up of experienced tasters with global training and vast experience, who judged the table olives and olive oils solely on the basis of the International Olive Council (COI) method.
It should be noted that the international competition of Monte Carlo is the only global competition that has eleven (11) of its total judges, with the status of certified and qualified panel leader, from recognized organizations such as the International Olive Council (COI), as well as MASAF, AIFO and MIPAAF.
After the preliminary analysis, the panel of specialized judges conducted an individual evaluation of each sample in five phases, in order to reach the final ranking of the finalists and the overall score.
In June 2026, the announcement of the results and the award ceremony took place in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were among the major winners and finalists of the competition, honored with the 1st place Over All for table olives.
The Greek table olives of Kalamata variety from Sparta and Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, with the commercial title "LEMONENIES gourmet olives", ranked 1st place in the general Over All ranking, and are the winner of the international competition MASTERS OF OLIVES International Contest, of the Principality of Monaco, in Monte Carlo, for 2026.
It is worth noting that in the 2nd and 3rd place of the general ranking, table olives from Spain and Italy were placed, respectively, for 2026.
The ranking of 1st place Over All in table olives, in the international Monte Carlo competition by Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, is a major Greek success, but also a historic and unique event that had not been recorded to date, by a Greek olive producer, in such a difficult competition.
At the same time, Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, in sixteen (16) entries, were honored with sixteen (16) international awards and high scores, while achieving an absolute percentage of 100% in their entries, an event that constitutes a milestone for Greek Olive Growing for 2026.

Achievements of this level constitute a milestone for Greek Olive Growing and highlight the efforts of Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms for many years to "pave the way" for Greek colors, through the table olives and the organic - gourmet olive oils they produce.
At the same time, these sixteen (16) major international awards at the famous Masters of Olives & Olive Oil International Competition 2026 in Monaco, complete 1.387 international awards for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms worldwide, a new and evolving world record number.
