A great success at an international level for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms was noted in the international and prestigious olive oil competition of Israel, TERRAOLIVO International Olive Oil Competition 2026, with ten (10) excellent distinctions in total.
The 2026 edition of the international competition, due to the circumstances in Israel, took place in Cyprus and the city of Larnaca from June 2 to 10, 2026. It has very high-quality criteria for the selection and award of olive oils, applying evaluation standards according to the methods set by the International Olive Council.
Due to the high degree of difficulty, it is ranked as the No. 1 competition of the Asian Continent and in the top 3 major global competitions, with the high score of 9/10, based on the EVOOWR World Ranking.
The tasting of olive oils in TerraOlivo IOOC 2026 was carried out by 36 olive oil experts and panel tasters of international prestige, from many different countries, exclusively with the method of blind tasting.
The very high degree of difficulty is complemented by the very large global competition and the number of participations, which for 2026 reached 591 olive oils, coming from thirty six (36) olive producing countries with a very high level of quality, such as Spain, Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Turkey, Portugal, Israel, Argentina, France, Chile, Morocco, USA, Uruguay, Peru, Croatia, Brazil, etc.
The organic and gourmet olive oils by Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were awarded in TerraOlivo IOOC 2026, with 4 Grand Prestige Gold, 4 Prestige Gold and 2 Gold awards, with exceptionally high scores.
