An unprecedented, prestigious distinction for a Greek Single Estate olive producer, with 14 awards, was noted in Italy, for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, in the prestigious international olive oil competition, EVO International Olive Oil Competition 2022.
The seventh edition of the competition took place in the historic city of Bacoli, in the region of Naples in Italy, from 16 to 19 May 2022. The EVOO World Ranking (EVOOWR), based on strict international standards, has ranked the EVOIOOC competition with the high rating of 9/10, elevating it to one of the highest positions in the world for its great degree of difficulty, validity, integrity and methodology.
This particular international competition is considered one of the most professional olive oil competitions in the world because it applies very strict evaluation standards, based on the tasting methods set by the International Olive Oil Council, exclusively with the method of blind tasting.
The tasting of olive oils at EVOIOOC 2022, as in any international competition of this level, is carried out by expert panel tasters of international prestige, coming from different countries of the world.
For 2022 there was a new record of participation in the Italian competition, with over 750 olive oils from 32 olive-producing countries such as Italy, Croatia, Greece, Spain, Brazil, Chile, Slovenia, Portugal, Tunisia, USA, Turkey, Israel and more, with a very high level of quality.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were honored with extremely high awards and specifically:

• With 3 gold and 10 silver awards accompanied by very high scores, they are ranked in Best Olive Oils EVOIOOC 2022.
