A great success at an international level for Greece, with an absolute success rate of 100% and 12 awards in 12 olive oil entries for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, was noted in TerraOlivo International Olive Oil Competition 2025.
The 2025 edition of the international competition, due to the circumstances in Israel, took place in Cyprus and the city of Larnaca from June 3 to 11, 2025. It has very high-quality criteria for the selection and award of olive oils, applying evaluation standards according to the methods set by the International Olive Council.
Due to the high degree of difficulty, it is ranked as the top competition of the Asian Continent and in the top 3 major global competitions, with the high score of 9/10, based on the EVOOWR World Ranking.
The tasting of olive oils in TerraOlivo IOOC 2025 was carried out by 27 olive oil experts and panel tasters of international prestige from many different countries, exclusively with the method of blind tasting.
The very high degree of difficulty is complemented by the very large global competition and the number of participations, which for 2025 reached 558 olive oils, coming from many olive producing countries with a very high level of quality, such as Spain, Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Turkey, Portugal, Israel, Argentina, France, Chile, Morocco, USA, Uruguay, Peru, Croatia, Brazil, etc.
The organic and gourmet olive oils by Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were awarded in TerraOlivo IOOC 2025, with 1 Grand Prestige Gold, 5 Prestige Gold and 6 Gold awards, noting the absolute success rate with 12 out of 12 and 100%.
