An absolute and exceptional distinction for a Greek olive producer was noted in Montreal, Canada, with 13 out of 13 and the ultimate 100% award rate for all olive oil participations for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, in the international olive oil competition of North America CANADA International Olive Oil Competition 2025.

Simultaneously, these 13 awards constitute a new record number. The 1.130 international awards that the organic olive products by Sakellaropoulos have acquired, constitute a world record of awards for a Greek Single Estate - Terroir olive producer. This event reflects the dynamic of Greek olive growing, placing Greece and Sparta Laconia in the most important places on the global olive map, while being a great honor for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms.

More specifically, these thirteen awards come from the 5th edition of the international competition CANADA IOOC held in Montreal, Quebec, from May 26 to 31. This international competition applies strict evaluation standards, based on tasting defined by the International Olive Council, exclusively by the method of blind tasting.

The tasting of olive oils at CANADA IOOC 2025, is carried out by expert tasters (expert panel tasters) of international prestige, coming from different countries of the world.

For 2025, hundreds of olive oils from many olive producing countries participated with a very high level of quality, while the international olive oil competition CANADA IOOC is a competition of special interest for the American continent, especially North America but also for many countries worldwide.
